The magnificent port of Sotogrande was born as a private Marina for a Luxury Resort Complex with fantastic apartments and villas overlooking the sea. Today it is a Marina open to the general public but with a flavour of exclusivity and luxury.
It is located in the province of Cádiz near the town of San Roque, very near the famous Golf course of Valderrama and the only Polo ground in Andalucia. It is surrounded by unspoiled beaches .
This harbour possesses one on the most beautiful panoramic views of the Straits of Gibraltar with Africa and Gibraltar as its backdrop.
Hotels, restaurants and shops along this Marina, where the colours of its buildings contrast with the blue of the sea and the white of the many yachts waiting to be sailed, make visiting Sotogrande a unique experience.
.
With the emergence of Blue Sotogrande, planned for opening in 2009, the port will offer a whole range of activities for the visitor to chose from, including fashion shows, vintage car and art exhibitions, live music, charity events and celebrity appearances.
Larger berths in Sotogrande are not often offered for sale, as most moorings are owned by the boat owners themselves, and so create a sound investment to buy. However, rentals can only be organized through the port management, and therefore a yield is not considered as significant.
